In a further enhancement of the ‘foody’ scene the iconic hotel The Melanesian is proud to announce the opening of its flagship restaurant “Le Melanesian”. Management’s brief to their experienced international chefs was to create menus that embrace the availability of fresh domestic produce, recipes that reflect local culinary influences and match it to travellers tastes.

The result was the launch of ‘Pacific Fusion’ and Western Fusion” menus featuring delectable dishes such as: Prawn Simboro, Chicken Bounia, Squid Bomber and Prawn Tapas to name but a few.
